In Qabalistic literature אימא, aima, is the Pregnant Mother. Its numeration is 52. The name is given the third Sephirah, Binah (Understanding), after the Universal Subconscious Mind-Matter has been impregnated with the Life-Force, symbolized by Hebrew letter Yod, from Chokmah (Wisdom). This begins a new cycle of manifestation. Prior to the addition of Yod, Binah is the Dark, Sterile Mother, AMA (see same). Number 52 also equals that of BN (ben), Son, suggesting that the instant AMA is impregnated by the Father, becoming AIMA, the Son is manifest simultaneously. The Son, then, is the manifestation of the entire physical universe, beginning with the suns and stars throughout infinite space. The essence of suns and stars is what alchemists call Virgin Sulphur.

In the Egyptian pantheon, Horus, the Son of Osiris and Isis, is the personification of the entire physical manifestation. More accurately, he represents the conscious life within physical worlds throughout endless space, ever evolving higher life forms or units of individual expression for the sake of continuous exploration. Rosicrucians represent the scale of evolution with the 3, 4, 5 triangle. The hypotenuse 5 being the gradations from mineral, vegetable, animal, man, and adept. The Son evolves with more freedom through knowledge of itself. Before the Son was manifest, he was in union, inseparable, within the Father. Within us, created in Its own Image, is the equal of creative imagination. Our subconscious receives true inspiration from deep within. Then suddenly we are full, or pregnant with new imagery, inspiring a new round of creative activity. We are the Son, Horus, creating a new magical child. Qabalistically, Imagination is attributed to the sixth Sephirah, Tiphareth, and BN, the Son and Christ Consciousness, our true creative source, one with the Father.
